Email sending and SMTP setup

Connecting your sender

By default, proposal emails may send from a generic Quiip address. To make emails arrive from your domain:

1. 1Go to Integrations → Email Sending.
2. 2Choose to connect your own SMTP server, or your business email provider — Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail.
3. 3Enter your SMTP credentials: host, port, username, password or app key, and sender address (e.g. proposals@yourcompany.com).
4. 4Verify domain ownership if prompted — typically a DNS record (SPF/DKIM) added at your domain registrar, which also improves deliverability and keeps you out of spam folders.
5. 5Send a test email to confirm it arrives correctly formatted and from the right address.
6. 6Once verified, all proposal emails, notifications and chat alerts to clients will send from your own address.
