Status & Signatures

Proposal statuses and how they change

Six statuses track a proposal from draft to signature.

Why statuses matter

Every proposal carries a status that tells you exactly where it sits in its lifecycle — visible to your whole team on the dashboard, so nobody has to ask what stage a deal is in.

How status changes

  • Most transitions happen automatically, based on client actions — opening the link, commenting, signing.
  • Some are manual: an Admin can mark a proposal as Lost from the proposal menu.
  • Every status change is timestamped and visible in the proposal's activity log, so you always have an audit trail of when things happened.
