How to sign off proposals

Approval and signature, in the same document.

Sending for signature

  1. Open the proposal you want to finalise.
  2. Add a sign-off or approval block to the proposal, usually as the last section.
  3. Choose the sign-off method: in-app e-signature, where the client signs directly inside the shared proposal link, or DocuSign, which routes the proposal through DocuSign for a legally binding signature.
  4. Send the proposal for sign-off. The client receives a notification with a Sign Now action.
  5. Once signed, the status updates to Signed automatically and both parties receive a signed copy.
Why it matters

Sign-off is built into the proposal itself, so there's no separate “send a contract later” step — approval and signature happen in one continuous flow.
